Why SO?
The word SO, is often used as a way to transition a conversation in many languages. To gain the attention of a group, you often hear “SO”…. and all will turn to you just like the planets to the sun. We invite you to notice how often you & others use this word.
SO is most often used as an adjective to describe the
indescribable. “SO beautiful, SO incredible or SO
amazing”. In the center is the balance of two forces,
pulling and pushing, expanding and contracting,
giving & receiving, a balance of spirit &
form, of the masculine & feminine.
To draw the “S” & “O” on each other creates a
ying-yang symbol. It is like a quiet force being used
by everyone. Musically, “SO” is what is known as the
interval of the fifth – Do-1st, Re-2nd, Me-3rd,
Fa-4th, “SO-5th
(also
known as SOL-5th)”.
All of the “SO” products are designed to honor the
Natural Laws of Harmony found in a simple vibrating
string. In many cultures, the fifth is considered the
interval that most reflects the organic, elemental,
and natural world. And indeed there are many examples
of the natural world responding to the resonance of
the SO products.
